Offers PSHE Programmes for 2020, meeting the Department for Education and Ofsted requirements consisting of, 'training and resources, complete with lesson planning and safeguarding procedures, for teachers, PSHE Leaders or professionals working with children and young people, empowering them with emotional  resilience, wellbeing, and self awareness.  Our programmes are 'a creative path to healing that cultivate self compassion, for 'Healthy Minds Beyond the Class.' Mind the Bully Projects


We have upcoming community projects working in partnership with Kohinoor Radio, Leicester. The projects will give access to the community to a provision of training, resources and support to promote emotional resilience. Our specialised team of therapists, practitioners, trainers and educators will be available to train, support, guide or signpost individuals to meet their needs. Our first projects starting in March 2020 are MENtalking Well, to support men with their Mental Health and Mindfulness in Motion, a community programme of meditation and movement for wellbeing. We are actively working towards supporting people with their Mental Health, promoting emotional resilience and intelligence.

Let's Mind the Gap  Programme 1 - 'Knowing Myself' 1 Day Live Training for Teachers  Part 1  - NVQ Level 2


This training is a compulsary component of our two part programme, that meets with the DfE and Ofsted requirement for the new PSHE Curriculum 2020, This learner will be introduced to the four modalities that fulfil the Mental & Physical Health requirement and PSHE 2020 ready, empowering them with a better understanding of connecting with their emotions and 'the self,' enabling them to teach pupils, and equip them  with the coping strategies to promote  healthy minds beyond the class.

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 4:

My Heart Matters: PSHE Emotional Wellbeing  KS 1 to 4 - NVQ Level 2

 

This training gives the learner a new and effective approach to helping pupils to identify/recognise their feelings and emotions, empowering them with the language and knowledge to manage them. The learner will be able to guide the pupils 'safely' through the programme, using the lesson plans and resources, develop coping strategies, promoting emotional resilience.

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 2: PSHE Mental Wellbeing Part 2  KS 1 -4 (Online + Portfolio)  - NVQ Level 2

 

This training is the second component of our Programmes. It is an essential part of the training, a 'non-superficial' toolkit that is required to fully understand how to effectively deliver our SAFE Curriculum lesson plans, the language needed with the understanding of the four modalities that meet the mental health requirement of the new PSHE Curriculum. This training will help learners to empower pupils with the language and knowledge to express their own and others' feelings and emotions in a safe way.

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 5:

PSHE Drugs and Alcohol - KS 1 to 4 NVQ Level 2 


The 'OTHER' Book of Nursery Rhymes Training is a restorative approach to help children cope with Drugs and Alcohol Misuse. This trauma-informed training with its resources helps teachers to empower children with the language and knowledge to express and understand their feelings and manage their emotions around drugs and alcohol misuse.

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 3: Mindfulness in Motion (MiM): PSHE Physical Health  KS 1 - 4  NVQ Level 2 


This training is a unique programme that meets with physical health element of the new PSHE Curriculum. The learner will be taken through our holistic programme which is an international model combined with NLP; 'Mindfulness in Motion (MiM). The learner will understand how to use our 'non-superficial' toolkit that will help deliver effective movement classes using our specially designed lesson plans,  empowering pupils to effectively use language with movement to express their feelings and emotions

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 6:

Chyna Whyte and The Seven Skunks Drugs Misuse  3 to 4  - NVQ Level 2

 

This training programme has been designed for Key Stages 3 and 4. The learner will work through a specially written resource with a restorative approach, that engages pupils using poetry and language that they can relate with. The training helps teachers to encourage and empower the pupils with an understanding of the impact of drugs misuse for the user and dealer within a community and school setting.

Let's Mind the Gap 1: Knowing Myself - 1 Day Live Teacher Training - NVQ Level 2

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 2: PSHE Mental and Physical Health Module 2  - NVQ Level 2


This Part Two Module is a CPD Online Course, with a portfolio submission.

 

Online Course  and Classroom Setting - will review the Four Modalities covered in Part One Module, how they are applied in a classroom setting. Complete lesson plans, resources, schemes of work and progression charts are included for the training.

 

Portfolio - will be required to demonstrate and evidence their practice. 

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 3: Mindfulness in Motion: PSHE Physical Health - NVQ Level 2

 

This Module is a CPD Accredited Course. Duration 4 Days (30 CPD Credits)


Class-based Course - Introduces the learner to the seven attitudes of Mindfulness Practice, the seven elements of Dancing Mindfulness and Language through Neuro Linguistic Programming. The learner will combine these three modalities to create stories through music, dance, movement and meditation. The course comes complete lesson plans, resources, schemes of work and progression charts are included for the training. 

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 4: My Heart Matters: PSHE Emotional Well-being -  NVQ Level 2


This Module is a CPD Accredited Course. Duration 20 Hours (20 CPD Credits)

Online Course and Classroom Setting - an online course including a six week lesson plan delivery, from KS 1-4, delivered in a classroom setting. This course demonstrates how this resource can be used effectively, identifying unlined issues and recognising safeguarding concerns that are not easily detected. This resources and training is a great KPI of a pupil's emotional journey.


Portfolio - Required to demonstrate and evidence learner’s work practice.

Let's Mind the Gap Programme 5: My Other Story: PSHE Drugs & Alcohol Misuse KS 1 to 4 -  NVQ Level 2


This Module is a CPD Accredited Course. Duration 20 Hours (20 CPD Credits)

Online Course and Classroom Setting - an online course including a six week lesson plan delivery,  from KS 1-4, delivered in a classroom setting. This resource demonstrates how it effectively, identifies underlined issues, recognising safeguarding concerns,  that can go undetected.  This training and resource is a great tool for restorative practice .


Portfolio - Required to demonstrate and evidence learner’s work practice.

This Module is a CPD Accredited Course. Duration 20 Hours (20 CPD Credits)

 

Online Course and Direct Work with Pupils (Classroom) - The learner will work online and through six-week lesson plans (included), using specifically written resources to help pupils to understand the effects and impact of drugs from user and dealer perspective, through direct work with pupils from KS 3 - 4.
